History
ITZY is a five members girl group formed under JYP Entertainment. The members are: Yeji, LIA, Ryunjin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. They debuted on February 11, 2019.
After four years since the company debuted their last girl group, TWICE, on December 9, 2018 it was discovered that JYP had registered the copyright for the name "ITZY" since October of 2018, that's when people started assuming that JYP was planning on debuting their 4th girl group after years.
There were many rumors of who might be the members of this new group, and what concept they were going to have, and on January 20, 2019 it was released a teaser called
PROLOGUE FILM : ITZY? ITZY! where we could see the girls and have an idea of what direction they were taking concept wise.
